Wild Horse Mushroom
For the past few years I've been learning to identify some of the local edible mushrooms. This summer (2022) I learned to identify the agaricus family as a whole, and how to identify the edible ones. I found a scattering of horse and meadow mushrooms, and after sorting out the toxic yellow stainers, I drew them in my sketchbook, then cooked and enjoyed them. These are the most delicious I've had but unfortunately I haven't found an abundant picking ground yet.

I recommend framing your print with a sheet of acid-free white paper behind it to enhance the appearance of the print. The transparency of the paper benefits from light filtering through, adding a dynamic quality to the artwork.
Each print is shipped with a sturdy backer and protective packaging to ensure it arrives safely.
